A large, global insurance broker is looking for a hands on Financial Controller to join their London finance team. This business has an excellent reputation and is a market leader in the insurance broker market.
Your new role
Reporting to the CFO you will be responsible for managing all the financial accounting and regulatory reporting for the UK business. You will also be responsible for the budgeting, forecasting and planning for the division, working closely with senior stakeholders and ensure all plans are maintained to a high standard. You will also work to develop high level management information to advise strategy and give commercial insight to senior stakeholders.
What you'll need to succeed
You will need to be a qualified accountant with previous experience in the insurance industry preferred. You will need to have a strong technical accounting knowledge and the ability to partner with a variety of stakeholders and maintain a strong work ethic and high standard of output delivery. You will need a strong understanding of client money and CASS regulation with a knowledge of hedging also desirable.
