Group Financial Controller
A highly successful UK support services Group PLC, is planning to expand in the UK and internationally. The expansion will be rapid so there is the requirement to hire a Group Financial Controller, who is experienced in working with numerous entities, to work closely with the CFO in order to make this happen.
Commercial and pragmatic you will be comfortable in both corporate and SME environments. The UK is a very successful business in its own right with a breadth of facility & property related services across both the private and public sector. The role is hands on and strategic, working closely with the CFO and the wider Group board to drive value creation through; improve financial transparency, effectiveness of the systems and processes whilst delivering change programmes, operational efficiencies and strong consolidated reporting, Group Management accounts and financial control.
Supported by the existing UK finance team you will need to be a qualified Finance professional who is ambitious and capable to succeed the CFO. A strong man manager, communicator and an advocate for systems and processes. Ideally you will have experience working in a fast paced, high volume, transactional multi-site and service led environment where corporate governance is also required. The overall objective is to deliver an enhanced Group finance function; financial transparency and reporting efficiency, timeliness and accuracy.
A background of financial leadership in integrated services, manufacturing, construction and technical or installation businesses would be a plus. Also experience of delivering rigorous commercial and financial process across a number businesses will be a great advantage too. If you speak French that would be a real plus too.
